Hamd kendisinden ba\u015fka ilah olmayan, mutlak manada tek g\u00fc\u00e7 ve kudret sahibi olan Allah\u2019a mahsustur. Salat ve selam t\u00fcm peygamberlerin ve onlar\u0131 takip eden tabilerinin \u00fczerine olsun.<\/strong><\/p>\n

18- Kendileriyle, i\u00e7lerinde bereketler k\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z memleketler aras\u0131nda (biri di\u011ferinden) g\u00f6r\u00fcnebilen \u015fehirler var ettik ve orada y\u00fcr\u00fcme (imk\u00e2nlar\u0131n\u0131) takdir ettik:(31) “Oralarda geceleri ve g\u00fcd\u00fczleri g\u00fcvenlik i\u00e7inde gezip dola\u015f\u0131n” (dedik) .<\/strong><\/p>\n

19- Onlar ise: “Rabbimiz, seferlerimizin aras\u0131n\u0131 a\u00e7(32) (\u015fehirlerimiz birbirine \u00e7ok yak\u0131nd\u0131r) dediler ve kendi nefislerine zulmetmi\u015f oldular. B\u00f6ylece biz de onlar\u0131 efsaneler(e konu olan bir halk) k\u0131ld\u0131k ve onlar\u0131 darmada\u011f\u0131n edip da\u011f\u0131tt\u0131k.(33) Hi\u00e7 \u015f\u00fcphe yok bunda, \u00e7ok sabreden ve \u00e7ok \u015f\u00fckreden herkes i\u00e7in ger\u00e7ekten ayetler vard\u0131r.(34)<\/strong><\/p>\n

20- Andolsun, \u0130blis, kendileri hakk\u0131nda zann\u0131n\u0131 do\u011frulam\u0131\u015f oldu, b\u00f6ylelikle, iman etmekte olan bir grup d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda onlar, ona uymu\u015f oldular.(35)<\/strong><\/p>\n

21- Oysa onun, kendilerine kar\u015f\u0131 hi\u00e7 bir zorlay\u0131c\u0131-g\u00fcc\u00fc yoktu; ancak biz ahirete iman edeni, ondan ku\u015fku i\u00e7inde olandan ay\u0131rdetmek i\u00e7in (ona bu imk\u00e2n\u0131 verdik) .(36) Senin Rabbin, her \u015feyin \u00fczerinde g\u00f6zetici-koruyucu oland\u0131r.(37)<\/strong><\/p>\n

A\u00c7IKLAMA<\/strong><\/p>\n

31. “\u0130\u00e7inde bereketler yaratt\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z memleketler”: Genellikle Kur’an-\u0131 Kerim’de bu \u015fekilde zikredilen Suriye ve Filistin beldeleri. (Bkz. mesela, A’raf: 137, \u0130sra: 1, Enbiya: 71, 81)
\n“G\u00f6r\u00fcnen \u015fehirler”: \u00dclkenin i\u00e7inde de\u011fil y\u00fckse\u011fe kurulmu\u015f olan \u015fehirler. Bu, \u015fehirler birbirinden uzak olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131, bir \u015fehir bitti\u011finde di\u011ferinin s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131 ba\u015flayacak \u015fekilde s\u0131ra s\u0131ra oldu\u011fu anlam\u0131na da gelebilir.<\/p>\n

“Uzakl\u0131klar takdir etmi\u015ftir”: Yemen’den Suriye s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131na dek b\u00fct\u00fcn yolculuk yerle\u015fik \u015fehirler \u00fczerinden yap\u0131l\u0131r ve konaklar aras\u0131ndaki uzakl\u0131klar bilinir ve belirlidir. Yerle\u015fik alanlarda yap\u0131lan yolculuklarla yerle\u015fim b\u00f6lgesi olmayan \u00e7\u00f6lde yap\u0131lan yolculu\u011fu birbirinden ay\u0131ran fark i\u015fte budur. Bir yolcu \u00e7\u00f6lde istedi\u011fi s\u00fcrece yolculu\u011funa devam eder ve yoruldu\u011funda konaklar. Bunun aksine yerle\u015fik alanlarda \u015fehirler aras\u0131ndaki uzakl\u0131klar iyi bilindi\u011finden, yolcu \u00f6nceden yolculu\u011funa nerde ara verece\u011fini, g\u00fcn\u00fcn ortas\u0131nda nerede dinlenece\u011fini ve geceyi nerede ge\u00e7irece\u011fini planlayabilir.<\/p>\n

32. Onlar Allah’a b\u00f6yle bu kesimlerde dua etmemi\u015f olabilirler. Fakat Allah’\u0131n nimetlerine \u015f\u00fckretmeyip nank\u00f6rl\u00fck eden herkes, asl\u0131nda Allah’a sanki kendisinin bu nimetlere lay\u0131k olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6ylemek istemektedir. Ayn\u0131 \u015fekilde Allah’\u0131n verdi\u011fi nimetleri suistimal eden bir topluluk asl\u0131nda, Allah’a \u015f\u00f6yle dua etmektedir: “Rabbimiz! Nimetlerini bizden al, biz bunlara lay\u0131k de\u011filiz.
\nBunun yan\u0131s\u0131ra metinde kullan\u0131lan ifade, Sebelilerin n\u00fcfuslar\u0131n\u0131n fazlala\u011f\u0131n\u0131 kendileri i\u00e7in bir felekat kabul ettiklerini ve ba\u015fka ak\u0131ls\u0131z milletler gibi n\u00fcfuslar\u0131n\u0131n azalmas\u0131n\u0131 istediklerini de ima edebilir.<\/p>\n

33. Yani, “Sebeliler her y\u00f6nden o kadar darmada\u011f\u0131n oldular ki, art\u0131k onlar\u0131n bu da\u011f\u0131n\u0131kl\u0131\u011f\u0131 herkes taraf\u0131ndan bilinir oldu. Bug\u00fcn bile Araplar bir toplulu\u011fun tamamen da\u011f\u0131l\u0131\u015f\u0131ndan bahsetmek isteseler Sebelileri \u00f6rnek g\u00f6sterirler. Allah nimetlerini onlardan geri ald\u0131\u011f\u0131nda, \u00e7e\u015fitli Sebe kabileleri yurtlar\u0131ndan ayr\u0131l\u0131p Arabistan’\u0131n ba\u015fka b\u00f6lgelerine g\u00f6\u00e7 etmeye ba\u015flad\u0131lar. Ben\u00fc Gass\u00e2n, Suriye ve \u00dcrd\u00fcn’e, Evs ve Hazre\u00e7, Yesrib’e, Huzaa da Cidde yak\u0131nlar\u0131ndaki Tihane’ye yerle\u015fti. Ezd kabilesi Umman’a gitti, Beni Lahm, Cuzam ve Kinde kabileleri de ba\u015fka yerlere g\u00f6\u00e7 etmek \u00fczere yurtlar\u0131n\u0131 terketmek zorunda kald\u0131lar. B\u00f6ylece Sebeliler art\u0131k millet olmaktan \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131lar ve sadece bir efsane oldular.”<\/p>\n

34. Burada “sabreden ve \u015f\u00fckreden kimse” ile, Allah kendisine nimet verdi\u011finde dengesini kaybetmeyen, Allah’\u0131 unutmayan, Allah’\u0131n verdi\u011fi nimetlere nank\u00f6rl\u00fck etmeyen fert ve toplumlar\u0131n ba\u015flar\u0131na gelen felaketlerden ibret alan kimseler kastedilmekdedir.<\/p>\n

35. Tarih, eski \u00e7a\u011flarda Sebeliler aras\u0131nda sadece bir tek Allah’a ibadet eden k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck bir toplulu\u011fun ya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6stermektedir. \u00c7a\u011f\u0131m\u0131zda yap\u0131lan arkeolojik kaz\u0131lar sonucu Yemen’de bulunan kitabeler bu k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck unsurun varl\u0131\u011f\u0131na i\u015faret etmektedir. Yakla\u015f\u0131k olarak M.\u00d6. 650 y\u0131llar\u0131na ait kitabeler, Sebe krall\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7inde, sadece Zu-semevi veya Z\u00fb-sem\u00e2vi’ye (yani Rabb es-Sema! G\u00f6klerin rabbi) ibadete hasredilmi\u015f evler bulundu\u011funu s\u00f6ylemektedir. Baz\u0131 yerlerde bu ilahtan Meliken zu-semavi (G\u00f6klerin sahibi olan Melik) diye bahsedilmektedir. Sebelilerin bu miras\u0131 Yemen’de y\u00fczy\u0131llarca ya\u015famaya devam etmi\u015ftir. M.S. 378 tarihli bir kitabede “\u0130lah zu-semavi” (bu mabet, ilah zu-semavi’ye aittir) ifadesi bulunmaktad\u0131r. M.S. 465 tarihli bir kitabede \u015f\u00f6yle bir ifade yer al\u0131r: “Bi-nasr ve riza ilah-in bel semin ve ardin (G\u00f6klerin ve yerin sahibi olan ilah\u0131n yard\u0131m ve r\u0131zas\u0131yla) . M.S. 458 tarihli ba\u015fka bir kitabede de Rahman kelimesi, bi-r\u0131za Rahmanen (Rahman\u0131n yard\u0131m\u0131yla) \u015feklinde kullan\u0131lmaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n

36. Yani, “\u0130blis’in, kendileri Allah’a itaat etmek istedikleri halde insanlar\u0131 Allah’a isyan yolunu se\u00e7meye zorlama g\u00fcc\u00fc yoktur. Allah sadece ona, kendileri Allah’a isyan yolunu se\u00e7mek isteyen kimseleri sapt\u0131rma, kand\u0131rma ve aldatma yetkisi vermi\u015ftir. Ahirete inananlar, onunla ilgili \u015f\u00fcphe duyanlardan ayr\u0131ls\u0131n diye \u0130blise bu g\u00fc\u00e7ler verilmi\u015ftir.
\nBa\u015fka bir deyi\u015fle, bu ilahi ifade, bu d\u00fcnyada ahirete imandan ba\u015fka hi\u00e7bir \u015feyin insan\u0131n do\u011fru yola ba\u011fl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 temin etmedi\u011fini g\u00f6zler \u00f6n\u00fcne sermektedir. E\u011fer bir insan \u00f6ld\u00fckten sonra dirilece\u011fine ve Allah huzurunda amellerinin hesab\u0131n\u0131 verece\u011fine inanmazsa, tabii ki do\u011fru yoldan sapacakt\u0131r. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc o hi\u00e7bir zaman kendisinde, do\u011fru yola ba\u011flanmas\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flayacak sorumluluk duygusunu geli\u015ftiremeyecektir. \u0130\u015fte bu nedenle \u015feytan\u0131n insan\u0131 sapt\u0131rmak i\u00e7in kulland\u0131\u011f\u0131 en \u00f6nemli ara\u00e7, onu ahiretten gafil yapmakt\u0131r. Bu \u015feytan\u00ee hileden kendisini kurtaran bir kimse, asla bu ge\u00e7ici d\u00fcnyan\u0131n \u00e7\u0131karlar\u0131 i\u00e7in ger\u00e7ek ve ebedi d\u00fcnyan\u0131n nimetlerini feda etmez. Tam aksine \u015feytan\u0131n kand\u0131rmalar\u0131yla temsilcileri olduklar\u0131n\u0131 iddia ederek halktan itaat isterlerdi. \nTarihte “Sebe”, b\u00fcy\u00fck kabileleri de i\u00e7ine alan b\u00fcy\u00fck bir G\u00fcney Arabistan kavmiydi. \u0130mam Ahmet, \u0130bn Ebi Hatim, \u0130bn Abd’\u00fcl-Berr ve Tirmizi, Hz. Peygamber’den (s.a) Sebe’nin soyundan a\u015fa\u011f\u0131daki kabileler t\u00fcreyen bir Arap oldu\u011funu rivayet etmi\u015flerdir: Kinde, Himyer, Ezr, E\u015f’ariyin, Mezhic, Enmar (iki kolu ile birlikte: Kes’am ve Becile) Amile, C\u00fczam, Lahm ve Gassan.
\nEski \u00e7a\u011flardan beri bu Arap kavmi b\u00fct\u00fcn d\u00fcnyaca bilinirdi. M.\u00d6. 2500 tarihli Ur kitabelerinde bu kavimden Sebum diye bahsedilmektedir. Bundan ba\u015fka Babil ve Asur yaz\u0131tlar\u0131nda ve Kitab-\u0131 Mukaddes’te de Sebelilerin bir\u00e7ok kez ad\u0131 ge\u00e7mektedir. (bkz. Mezmurlar 72-15, Yeremya 6:20, Hezekiel 27:22, 38:13, Eyub 6;19) . Yunan ve Roma tarih\u00e7ileri ve co\u011frafya bilgini Theo-phrastus (M.\u00d6. 288) de, \u0130sa’dan \u00f6ncesinden itibaren, \u00e7a\u011flar boyunca H\u0131ristiyan tarihinin yan\u0131s\u0131ra bu kavimden de bahsetmektedirler.<\/p>\n

Bu kavmin yurdu bug\u00fcn Yemen denilen Arabistan yar\u0131madas\u0131n\u0131n g\u00fcneybat\u0131 k\u00f6\u015fesiydi. Y\u00fckseli\u015fi M.\u00d6. 1100 y\u0131llar\u0131nda ba\u015flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Davud ve S\u00fcleyman Peygamberler zaman\u0131nda Sebeliler, zenginlikleriyle d\u00fcnyaca me\u015fhur bir kavimdi. Ba\u015flang\u0131\u00e7ta g\u00fcne\u015fe tap\u0131yorlard\u0131. Daha sonra, krali\u00e7elerinin Hz. S\u00fcleyman zaman\u0131nda imana gelmesinden (M.\u00d6. 965-926) sonra muhtemelen \u00e7o\u011fu M\u00fcsl\u00fcman oldu. Fakat zaman\u0131 tam tesbit edilemeyen daha sonraki bir d\u00f6nemde tekrar Elmaka (ay tanr\u0131s\u0131) , Ester (Ven\u00fcs) , Zat Hamim, Zat Bed’an (g\u00fcne\u015f tanr\u0131s\u0131) Hermeten veya Herimet gibi bir\u00e7ok tanr\u0131 ve tanr\u0131\u00e7aya tapmaya ba\u015flad\u0131lar. Yemen’de yap\u0131lan kaz\u0131lar sonucu her tarafta bu tanr\u0131lar i\u00e7in \u00f6zellikle de Elmaka i\u00e7in mabedler yap\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ve her \u00f6nemli olayda bu tanr\u0131lara kurbanlar sunuldu\u011funu g\u00f6steren bir\u00e7ok yaz\u0131tlar ortaya \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n

\u00c7a\u011f\u0131m\u0131zda yap\u0131lan arkeolojik kaz\u0131lar sonucunda, bu kavmin tarihine \u0131\u015f\u0131k tutan yakla\u015f\u0131k 3000 kadar kitabe bulunmu\u015ftur. Bunlar\u0131n yan\u0131s\u0131ra, Arap ravilerinin, Romal\u0131 ve Yunan tarih\u00e7ilerinin verdikleri bilgiler de kullan\u0131l\u0131rsa, bu kavmin ayr\u0131nt\u0131l\u0131 bir tarihi haz\u0131rlanabilir. Bu bilgilere dayanarak a\u015fa\u011f\u0131daki d\u00f6nemlerin bu kavmin tarihinde \u00f6nemli d\u00f6nemler oldu\u011funu s\u00f6yleyebiliriz:
\n1) Yedinci y\u00fczy\u0131l\u0131n yar\u0131s\u0131ndan \u00f6nceki d\u00f6nem: Bu d\u00f6nemde Sebe krallar\u0131 Mukarrib diye an\u0131l\u0131yordu. Bu, krallar\u0131n kendilerinin insanlarla tanr\u0131lar aras\u0131nda bir ba\u011f oldu\u011funu iddia ettiklerini veya ba\u015fka bir deyi\u015fle rahip-krallar olduklar\u0131n\u0131 ifade eder.<\/p>\n

Ba\u015fkentleri, bug\u00fcn Heribe denilen ve Me’arib’in bir g\u00fcnl\u00fck yol bat\u0131s\u0131nda kal\u0131nt\u0131lar\u0131 bulunan Sirve idi. B\u00fcy\u00fck Me’arib baraj\u0131n\u0131n temelleri bu d\u00f6nemde at\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131; daha sonraki d\u00f6nemlerde gelen krallar bu baraj\u0131 zaman zaman geni\u015fletmi\u015flerdir.<\/p>\n

2) M.\u00d6. 650-M.\u00d6. 115: Bu d\u00f6nemde Sebe krallar\u0131, dinsel y\u00f6netimin yerini laik krall\u0131k y\u00f6netimine b\u0131rakt\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6steren Melik ad\u0131n\u0131 ald\u0131lar ve Mukarrib ad\u0131n\u0131 kullanmaz oldular. Sirve’yi b\u0131rak\u0131p Me’arib’i ba\u015fkent yapt\u0131lar ve onu her y\u00f6nden geli\u015ftirdiler. Bu \u015fehir denizden 3900 fit y\u00fcksektedir ve San’a’n\u0131n yakla\u015f\u0131k 60 mil do\u011fusundad\u0131r. Bug\u00fcn bulunan harebeleri bile, bir zamanlar \u00e7ok geli\u015fmi\u015f bir kavmin merkezi oldu\u011funa \u015fahitlik etmektedir.<\/p>\n

3) M.\u00d6. 115-M.S. 300: Bu d\u00f6nemde Sebe krall\u0131\u011f\u0131, Sebe kavminin ileri gelen kabilelerinden biri olan Himyerilerin y\u00f6netimi alt\u0131na girdi. Onlar Me’arib’i b\u0131rak\u0131p, daha sonralar\u0131 Zafar diye bilinen Reydan’\u0131 ba\u015fkent yapt\u0131lar. Bu \u015fehrin kal\u0131nt\u0131lar\u0131 bug\u00fcnk\u00fc Yerim \u015fehri yak\u0131nlar\u0131ndaki bir tepe \u00fczerinde h\u00e2l\u00e2 mevcuttur. Bu d\u00f6nemde Sebelilerin gerileyi\u015fi de ba\u015flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n

4) M.S. 300’den \u0130slam\u0131n do\u011fu\u015funa kadar olan d\u00f6nem: Bu Sebelilerin \u00e7\u00f6kt\u00fc\u011f\u00fc d\u00f6nemdir. Bu d\u00f6nemde Sebeliler, d\u0131\u015f m\u00fcdahalelere meydan b\u0131rakan i\u00e7 sava\u015flara dalm\u0131\u015flard\u0131. Bu, onlar\u0131n ticaret ve tar\u0131mlar\u0131n\u0131n gerilemesi, hatta siyasal \u00f6zg\u00fcrl\u00fcklerinin bile kaybedilmesi ile sonu\u00e7land\u0131. Daha sonra Yemen’in Habe\u015fli y\u00f6neticisi Ebrehe, Kabe’nin merkezi durumuna bir son vermek ve b\u00fct\u00fcn bat\u0131 Arabistan’\u0131 Bizans-Habe\u015f etkisi alt\u0131na almak i\u00e7in, Hz. Muhammed’in (s.a) do\u011fumundan bir ka\u00e7 g\u00fcn \u00f6nce, M.S. 570 veya 571’de Mekke \u00fczerine y\u00fcr\u00fcd\u00fc. Habe\u015fistan ordusu, Kur’an’da Ashab\u00fc’l Fil ad\u0131 alt\u0131nda anlat\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u015fekliyle tamamen helak oldu. En sonunda M.S. 575’de Yemen, \u0130ran’l\u0131lar\u0131n eline ge\u00e7ti. Yemen meliki Bazan, \u0130slam\u0131 kabul edince onlar\u0131n y\u00f6netimi de M.S. 628’de sona erdi.<\/p>\n

Sebe halk\u0131 zenginli\u011fini iki \u015feye bor\u00e7luydu: Tar\u0131m ve ticaret. Tar\u0131mlar\u0131n\u0131, daha \u00f6nceden Babil hari\u00e7 hi\u00e7bir yerde bilinmeyen bir sulama sistemi ile geli\u015ftirmi\u015flerdi. \u00dclkelerinde do\u011fal akarsular yoktu, ya\u011fmurlu mevsimlerde tepecikler aras\u0131na in\u015fa ettikleri setler sayesinde k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck g\u00f6lc\u00fcklerde su toplan\u0131r ve \u00fclkenin her taraf\u0131nda yap\u0131lan bu g\u00f6lc\u00fcklerden tarlalar\u0131na su ta\u015f\u0131mak i\u00e7in kanallar in\u015fa ederlerdi. Bu, Kur’an’da da de\u011finildi\u011fi gibi b\u00fct\u00fcn \u00fclkeyi verimli bir bah\u00e7e haline getirmi\u015fti. En b\u00fcy\u00fck su deposu, Me’arib yak\u0131n\u0131ndaki Cebel Belek’in giri\u015fine in\u015fa edilen baraj sayesinde biriken g\u00f6ld\u00fc. Fakat Allah nimetlerini onlardan geri al\u0131nca, en b\u00fcy\u00fck baraj M.S. be\u015finci y\u00fczy\u0131l\u0131n ortalar\u0131nda y\u0131k\u0131ld\u0131 ve meydana gelen sel birbiri arkas\u0131na \u00fclkedeki b\u00fct\u00fcn barajlar\u0131 y\u0131kt\u0131. Bu da b\u00fct\u00fcn sulama sisteminin bir daha tamir edilemeyecek \u015fekilde bozulmas\u0131yla sonu\u00e7land\u0131.<\/p>\n

Allah, Sebelilere ticaretle ilgili olarak da yararlanabilecekleri \u00e7ok avantajl\u0131 bir co\u011frafi mekan ihsan etmi\u015fti. Bin y\u0131ldan fazla Do\u011fu ile Bat\u0131 aras\u0131ndaki ticaret ara\u00e7lar\u0131n\u0131 tekellerinde tuttular. Bir taraftan limanlar\u0131na \u00c7in’den ipek, Endonezya ve Malabar’dan baharatlar, Hindistan’dan dokuma ve k\u0131l\u0131\u00e7lar, G\u00fcney Afrika’dan zenci k\u00f6leler, maymunlar, deveku\u015fu t\u00fcyleri, fildi\u015fi geliyor, di\u011fer taraftan bu mallar\u0131 daha sonra Roma ve Yunanistan’a nakledilmek \u00fczere M\u0131s\u0131rl\u0131 ve Suriyeli tacirlere sat\u0131yorlard\u0131. Bunun yan\u0131s\u0131ra Sebeliler, M\u0131s\u0131r, Suriye, Roma ve Yunanistan’da b\u00fcy\u00fck reva\u00e7 bulan buhur, anbar, m\u00fcr ve daha ba\u015fka parf\u00fcmler \u00fcretiyorlard\u0131.<\/p>\n

Bu uluslararas\u0131 ticaret i\u00e7in iki \u00f6nemli yol vard\u0131: Kara yolu ve deniz yolu. Deniz ticareti bin y\u0131ldan fazla Sebelilerin kontrol\u00fcnde kald\u0131, \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc K\u0131z\u0131ldeniz’in esrarengiz muson r\u00fczgarlar\u0131n\u0131, dalgalar\u0131n\u0131, kayal\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131, emin limanlar\u0131n\u0131 sadece onlar biliyorlard\u0131 ve ba\u015fka hi\u00e7bir kavim bu tehlikeli sularda denizcilik yapmay\u0131 g\u00f6ze alam\u0131yordu. Bu deniz yolu ile Sebeliler ticaret mallar\u0131n\u0131 \u00dcrd\u00fcn ve M\u0131s\u0131r limanlar\u0131na g\u00f6t\u00fcr\u00fcyorlard\u0131. Aden ve Hadramevt’ten gelen kara yollar\u0131 Me’arib’de birle\u015fiyor, oradan da Mekke, Cidde, Yesrib, El’ula, Tebuk ve Eyle’den Petra’ya giden bir yola uzan\u0131yor, bu yol kuzey ucunda M\u0131s\u0131r ve Suriye’ye olmak \u00fczere ikiye ayr\u0131l\u0131yordu. Bu kara yolu boyunca Kur’an’da zikredildi\u011fi gibi Yemen’den Suriye s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131na kadar uzanan ve ticaret kervanlar\u0131n\u0131n gece g\u00fcnd\u00fcz u\u011frad\u0131\u011f\u0131 bir\u00e7ok Sebe kolonisi kurulmu\u015ftur. Bu kolonilerin (yerle\u015fim b\u00f6lgesi) i\u015faretlerine bug\u00fcn h\u00e2l\u00e2 Sebe ve Himyeri kitabelerinin bulundu\u011fu bu yol \u00fczerinde rastlanmaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n

Hz. \u0130sa’dan sonraki birinci y\u00fczy\u0131ldan sonra Sebelilerin ticareti k\u00f6t\u00fcye gitmeye ba\u015flad\u0131. Ortado\u011fu’da Yunan, daha sonra da Roma krall\u0131klar\u0131 kurulduktan sonra halk Arap tacirlerinin kurduklar\u0131 tekel nedeniyle oryantal mallar i\u00e7in \u00e7ok y\u00fcksek fiyatlar talep etmelerinden \u015fikayet\u00e7i olmaya ve y\u00f6neticileri onlar\u0131n deniz ticaretindeki tekeli k\u0131rmaya te\u015fvik etmeye ba\u015flad\u0131lar.<\/p>\n

Bunun \u00fczerine ba\u015flang\u0131\u00e7ta M\u0131s\u0131r’\u0131n Yunanl\u0131 y\u00f6neticisi II. Batlamyus (M.\u00d6. 285-246) yakla\u015f\u0131k olarak yedi y\u00fczy\u0131l \u00f6nce Firavun Sesostris taraf\u0131ndan kaz\u0131lan Nil-K\u0131z\u0131ldeniz kanal\u0131n\u0131 tekrar a\u00e7t\u0131. Bunun sonucu olarak ilk M\u0131s\u0131r donanmas\u0131 ilk defa bu kanaldan K\u0131z\u0131ldeniz’e girdi, fakat Sebelilere kar\u015f\u0131 fazla ba\u015far\u0131 kazanamad\u0131. M\u0131s\u0131r, Romal\u0131lar\u0131n eline ge\u00e7ince, Romal\u0131lar, K\u0131z\u0131ldeniz’e daha g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc bir ticaret filosu g\u00f6nderdiler ve bu filoyu arkadan ba\u015fka bir donanma ile de desteklediler. Sebeliler bu g\u00fcce kar\u015f\u0131 koyamad\u0131lar. Romal\u0131lar her limanda kendi ticaret kolonilerini kurdular, gemiler i\u00e7in erzak depolad\u0131lar ve m\u00fcmk\u00fcn olan her yere askeri kuvvetlerini de yerle\u015ftirdiler. En sonunda Aden, Romal\u0131lar\u0131n askeri y\u00f6netimi alt\u0131na girdi. Bu hususta Roma ve Habe\u015fistan krall\u0131klar\u0131 Sebelilere kar\u015f\u0131 gizli ve ortak planlar kurdular ve en sonunda bu kavmi siyasal \u00f6zg\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnden de mahrum b\u0131rakt\u0131lar.<\/p>\n

Deniz ticareti yolundaki denetimlerini yitiren Sebelilere sadece karayolu ticareti kald\u0131, fakat bir \u00e7ok fakt\u00f6r birle\u015ferek yava\u015f yava\u015f bu ticareti de ellerinden \u00e7\u0131karmalar\u0131na sebep oldu. \u0130lk \u00f6nce Nebatiler, Petra’dan El-Ula’ya kadar b\u00fct\u00fcn Hicaz ve \u00dcrd\u00fcn kolonilerini Sebelilerin elinden ald\u0131. B\u00f6ylece Allah’\u0131n gazab\u0131, bu kavmin zafer ve zenginli\u011fin doru\u011fundan bir daha y\u00fckselmeye muktedir olamayacaklar\u0131 hi\u00e7li\u011fe inmelerine neden olmu\u015ftur. Bir zamanlar Yunanl\u0131lar ve Romal\u0131lar bu kavmin efsanevi zenginli\u011fini duyup k\u0131skan\u0131rlard\u0131. Strabe \u015f\u00f6yle diyor: “Sebeliler alt\u0131n ve g\u00fcm\u00fc\u015f kaplar kullan\u0131yorlard\u0131, evlerinin tavanlar\u0131, duvarlar\u0131 ve kap\u0131lar\u0131 bile fildi\u015fi, alt\u0131n, g\u00fcm\u00fc\u015f ve de\u011ferli ta\u015flarla s\u00fcsl\u00fcyd\u00fc.” Pliny \u015f\u00f6yle der: “Roma’n\u0131n ve \u0130ran’\u0131n b\u00fct\u00fcn zenginlikleri Sebelilerin ellerine ak\u0131yor. Onlar bug\u00fcn d\u00fcnyan\u0131n en zengin halk\u0131 ve verimli topraklar\u0131, bah\u00e7eler, bitkiler ve hayvanlarla dolu.” Artemidorus ise \u015f\u00f6yle der: “Bu insanlar l\u00fcks i\u00e7inde y\u00fcz\u00fcyorlar. Yakacak olarak tar\u00e7\u0131n a\u011fac\u0131, sandal a\u011fac\u0131 ve ba\u015fka g\u00fczel kokulu a\u011fa\u00e7lar yak\u0131yorlar.” Ayn\u0131 \u015fekilde Yunan tarih\u00e7ileri de Sebelilerin sahip oldu\u011fu sahillerden ge\u00e7erken gemilerin i\u00e7inden bile bu topraklar\u0131n g\u00fczel kokusunu duyan yolculardan bahsederler. Tarihte ilk defa Sebeliler bir g\u00f6kdelen in\u015fa etmi\u015flerdir. San’a’da bir tepenin \u00fczerine in\u015fa edilen ve Gumdan kalesi denilen bu g\u00f6kdelenin Arap tarih\u00e7ilerine g\u00f6re yirmi kat\u0131 vard\u0131 ve her kat 36 fit y\u00fcksekli\u011fe sahipti. Sebeliler Allah kendilerine nimetlerini bol bol ihsan etti\u011fi s\u00fcrece b\u00f6yle bolluk ve e\u011flence i\u00e7inde ya\u015fad\u0131lar. En sonunda nank\u00f6rl\u00fckte b\u00fct\u00fcn s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131 a\u015ft\u0131klar\u0131nda, her\u015feye g\u00fcc\u00fc yeten Allah, y\u00fcz\u00fcn\u00fc onlardan \u00e7evirdi.
